Surprised to see that people are still talking about this show after like 9 years, shows that if a spin-off show, or even movie was created that fans, old and new, would stillw watch. I could have made up my own ending and it would have stayed a great show. I just wish my power had gone out 15 minutes from the end and somehow I never got to see the rest. WTF? So he never becomes a great leader for more than 15 minutes? So all those other stories of Arthur and the nights of the round table we should just forget about? So Merlin basically waisted all that time so Arthur could just die? And oh yeah now he has to waist centuries waiting for the return of the never great Arthur. But we find out that after barley becoming king Arthur dies. The whole point of the series was for Merlin to protect Arthur so that he could be the great King he was destined to be. And for every other story about king Arthur for that matter. It actually killed the reason for the entire series. When Arthur died It went beyond being dissatisfying. I disagree this is THEY worst series endings ever. A lot of people say this is one of the worst series endings.
